Project: Riverside Corridor Planning Study (St. Joseph, MO)
Collins Noteis & Associates was responsible for oversight and management of the master planning process for a 2,400 acre site in St. Joseph, Missouri. The multiple owners of the site (Heartland Health, Herzog Contracting Corporation, and Missouri Western State University) desired a wholistic approach to land use and development that could be implemented by each partner.
CNA’s responsibilities included advising a Project Planning Board that consisted of representatives from the three property owners, facilitation of the Board’s planning process, communication with city and public officials, development of the plan, and selection of a Master Development Team to implement the plan.
The plan recommended over 1.5 million square feet of commercial space and over 650 housing units at a projected cost of over $500 million dollars. The plan includes specific steps for implementation and financing.
